Nursing Profile

Nora Hale, RN
WMC Quality & Regulatory Specialist, Spanish Interpreter
Medicine takes on different meanings and looks different to people depending on your place in the world. For Nora Hale, growing up with a grandmother as a “Curandera” in Mexico, medicine looked nothing like she sees everyday as a Registered Nurse at Wyoming Medical Center. As a traditional Mexican healer, Nora’s grandmother provided care through alternative resources in what some may consider holistic, while others may consider it unconventional. It was her grandmother’s commitment to “healing” that inspired Nora to become a nurse.
“I believe that caring for a patient involves caring for not just the patient’s ailment, but also for the patient’s overall needs.”
Nora’s philosophy for excellence in care stems back to meeting patient needs and providing professional and sympathetic care. She says nurses assess the needs of the patient and their family with a commitment to educate, provide options and set goals that are attainable for the patient.
Over the past three and a half years as a nurse at Wyoming Medical Center, Nora has become proud to be part of a facility that seeks out and applies the many different processes that ensures the highest quality health care.
