Accommodations

• Free RV parking with electrical hookups is available for our patients’ out-of-town family members. For more information please call the Security Office at 577-2220.
• Masterson Place offers affordable lodging for our patients and their families. The facility is located near the hospital at 2325 E. Yellowstone Highway. A shuttle between the facility and the hospital is available from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information please call 237-5933.

Visiting Hours
Wyoming Medical Center’s general visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Visiting hours in certain areas of the hospital vary from the facility’s general visiting hours. Please check with the staff of the following units for their visiting hours: Intensive Care Unit, Telemetry, The Birth Place, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, Transitional Care Unit and Emergency Room.

Volunteers
Volunteers (women wear pink coats and men wear blue vests) contribute many hours of service to the hospital. They supplement the services of the hospital staff in many ways. Volunteers are located at information desks on the second and third floors. If you have come to the hospital to visit someone who is undergoing surgery or in the Intensive Care Unit, please report to the information desk in the surgery/ICU waiting area on the third floor and let the volunteer on duty know who you are and your relationship to the patient.

Visiting Regulations

• Children under 13 years of age are discouraged from visiting.
• People with colds, sore throats or any contagious diseases should not visit patients.
• Visitors must dress appropriately and wear shirts and shoes.
• No more than two visitors are allowed at the bedside at one time.
• Visitors should be considerate of other patients in the room.
• Visits should be short.
• Visitors should avoid making unnecessary noise and maintain a quiet environment.
• Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
• In the interest of promoting better health, smoking is not permitted on Wyoming Medical Center grounds except on the sixth floor of the parking garage, where a “smoking hut” is located.

Guest Trays
The cafeteria offers meal vouchers to patients’ family members for a small cost. Guests can choose meals from patient menus and use these vouchers to place orders through Room Service. To order, please dial extension 2469.

Garden Café
Wyoming Medical Center’s “Garden Café” offers a wide selection of food each day for your convenience. The cafeteria, which is on the first floor, provides two hot entrees, one hot sandwich, a full deli/salad bar and a variety hot bar. Customers can relax in our convenient dining area or the courtyard during the summer, or they may take meals back to patients’ rooms. The cafeteria is open from 6:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Breakfast is from 6:15 a.m. to 10 a.m., lunch is from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner is from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Vending Machines
Beverage and snack machines are available 24 hours a day in the vending room outside the cafeteria entrance, in the balcony waiting area on the third floor, next to the service elevators on the fourth floor, in the waiting area on the fifth floor and next to the service elevators on the sixth floor.
